Product Description
Optical Prism
An optical prism, a transparent object surrounded by two intersecting but not parallel planes, used to divide or disperse light beams and to adjust the direction of an image. It is widely used in optical instruments, such as spectral instruments, periscopes, binoculars and other instruments. Prisms can be subdivided into the following types according to their properties and uses: right Angle prisms, Pentagon prisms, Dowell prisms, rhombic prisms, ridge prisms, Powell prisms, depolarization splitting prisms and so on.
Right Angle Prism
Right-angle prisms are usually used to turn the light path or to deflect the image of an optical system by 90°. Depending on the orientation of the prism, the image can be left and right and upside down or left and right and wrong. Right-angle prisms can also be used for image combination, beam deflection and other applications
