Additionally, the 2090 nm wavelength corresponds to the absorption peak of water molecules in human tissue, making it ideal for medical procedures. The penetration depth of Ho lasers in human tissue is only a few tens of micrometers, minimizing thermal damage to surrounding tissues. As a result, Ho lasers are widely used in medical surgeries and treatments.
