RTP (Rubidium Titanyl Phosphate - RbTiOPO4) is a material now widely used for electro-optical applications, especially when low switching voltages are required. RTP (Rubidium Titanyl Phosphate - RbTiOPO4) is a form of KTP crystal used in nonlinear and electro-optical applications. It has advantages such as a higher damage threshold-about 1.8 times that of KTP-high resistivity, a high repetition rate, no hygroscopicity, and no piezoelectric effect. It features good optical transparency from around 400 nm to over 4 µm, and, importantly for industrial laser operations, it has high resistance to optical damage, with power handling capability of approximately 1 CW/cm² for short pulses at 1064 nm. Its transmission range is 350 nm to 4500 nm.
