Description
Our Infrared Diffuse Reflectance Standard is designed for near-infrared to mid-infrared applications, offering a spectral reflectance exceeding 94%. It is primarily used as a reference for infrared emissivity measurements and can be employed in laser beam profile testing with a damage threshold up to 19.3 J/cm². This product also meets the stringent requirements of many space applications.
Working Principle
The surface of an infrared diffuse reflectance standard is engineered with a micro-nano structure. When infrared light strikes this surface, it undergoes multiple reflections and scattering events, resulting in diffuse reflection in all directions. Due to the unique properties of this surface structure, the reflectivity remains nearly constant across a wide range of wavelengths, achieving high reflectance over a broad spectrum.
