Product Description

Introduction

The digital semiconductor Q-switched laser power supply allows independent adjustment of current, frequency, pulse width, and delay, with control via RS-232 interface for the aforementioned parameters. The current, frequency, pulse width, and delay parameters are generated using digital technology to avoid the adverse effects such as delay, pulse width drift, and jitter caused by analog components.

Designed for Q-Switched Lasers with the Following Features

  1. Internal Frequency Generator: Adjustable from 1-100Hz with a 0.1Hz step.
  2. Front Panel: Includes a power switch for the Q-switch module, making laser path adjustment easier.
  3. Built-in Precision Q-Switch Delay and Laser Pulse Width Adjustment: Step size of 1 microsecond, range from 10-500 microseconds.
  4. Laser Control: Can be controlled via the front panel, footswitch, or RS232 external control, with a master laser switch.
  5. Internal and External Trigger Switches: Ensures synchronization of the Q-switched laser output.
  6. Power-On Protection: No overshoot, spikes, or ripple; no surge during sudden power-off or voltage fluctuations.
  7. Real-Time Display: The laser current waveform can be displayed in real-time, making it easier to observe the actual current waveform.
