Product Description
Optical Prism
An optical prism, a transparent object surrounded by two intersecting but not parallel planes, used to divide or disperse light beams and to adjust the direction of an image. It is widely used in optical instruments, such as spectral instruments, periscopes, binoculars and other instruments. Prisms can be subdivided into the following types according to their properties and uses: right Angle prisms, Pentagon prisms, Dowell prisms, rhombic prisms, ridge prisms, Powell prisms, depolarization splitting prisms and so on.
Powell prism
Powell prism is an optical scribing prism, which can optimally draw a straight line with uniform optical density, good stability and good straightness after the laser beam passes through. Powell prism lineation is better than cylindrical lens lineation mode, which can eliminate the central hot spot and faded edge distribution of Gaussian beam.
