Product Description:
TEC-10A is a high-power-density TEC temperature controller with a rated load of 6A and a peak current of up to 10A. This temperature controller can be connected to a dedicated debugger for parameter adjustments. Once the parameters are set and saved, the controller can operate independently without the debugger. It can also communicate with a computer via a dedicated RS232 debugging cable for parameter setting, temperature monitoring, and temperature control.
Controller Specifications:
Installation and Usage of TEC-10A:
In low cooling power applications, when TEC reaches a stable balance, the operating current is generally small. In this case, the TEC-10A can dissipate heat through natural air cooling, requiring only pillar supports for installation. For high-power cooling applications, when the TEC operates at higher currents, the heat dissipation can be solved by bottom thermal conduction mounting, as shown in the image.
If the user needs to change the temperature during operation, an additional human-machine interface (debugger) can be added to the TEC temperature control. The installation of the human-machine interface is easy and can be done by making a hole in the panel of the enclosure.
Simple Wiring:
The TEC-10A uses a 6-pin connector for wiring. First, connect the power supply and DS18B20, ensuring that the GND pin of the DS18B20 is connected to the GND pin of the power supply. After powering on, finally connect the TEC. During wiring, ensure that the 12V power supply interface is larger than 0.5mm x 0.5mm. The DS18B20 is a commonly used temperature sensor that is small in size, cost-effective, highly resistant to interference, and has high precision.
